TSM Mr. Khalid Al Bin Ali is a Chemical Engineer from the University of Bahrain class of 1996. He also holds an M.Sc. (with distinction) in "Integrated Design of Chemical Plants" from Leeds University, United Kingdom which he obtained in October 2001. He established his work career in May 1996 as a Graduate Engineer with Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company. Having undergone extensive training and development both in Bahrain as well as overseas, he has held a number of senior positions in GPIC including Process Engineer, Senior Process Engineer and Engineering Superintendent. In November 2012, he assumed the position of Technical Services Manager.
Mr. Al Bin Ali, has also been the Process Hazardous Assessment (PHA) Team Leader and has experience with Project Risk studies. In addition to this, he has had extensive project experience with the Urea Project in 1998 and the Carbon Dioxide Recovery Project in 2009. He is also a member of the ITB team for the GPIC Ammonia II Urea II Proposed Expansion Project.
Further, Mr. Al Bin Ali has held the position of Director for Talent Management in the Project Management Institute, Arabian Gulf Chapter (PMI-AGC) since 2014, and he is a member of the Bahrain Society of Engineering.
