Children taking part in the Summer Camp organised by the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) visited cinemas at the country’s shopping malls.

The participants appreciated the organisers’ efforts in setting up the activities, which focus diversifying the programme. They said they enjoyed watching all the latest films and were thoroughly entertained.

In a statement, GPIC President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery said the Management is keen to provide all possible facilities for the success of the programme, which contributes to enhancing the spirit of togetherness and love between employees and their families.

He praised the efforts of the Chairman and members of the Social Activities Committee in preparing for the programme and working to achieve the desired results.

He said the activities encourage the students to experience new and useful things while providing them a chance to enjoy and have fun away from the daily stress in a comfortable and safe environment.

The summer camp is being organised by the company since 2005. Its activities aim at developing intellectual and cultural skills of students and to expand their knowledge in a safe environment that allows them to interact with their peers under the supervision of a group of specialists.

These activities are popular among the children, who benefit from the annual exercise.
