Four women employees of the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) have been honoured by the Bahrain Society for Training and Human Resources Development.

The recognition for Training Officer Ms. Lulwa Al Muaili, Executive Office Administrator Ms. Qoot Abdullah, Senior Office Administrator Ms. Nada Mohammed and Ms. Noora Al Meer came in recognition of their excellence and professionalism in the private sector for 2017.

Society Honorary President H.E. Dr. Ibrahim Khalifa Al Dossari presented certificates of excellence to the four women during a ceremony to mark the Bahrain National Day and the Bahraini Women’s Day.

GPIC President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery congratulated the employees and said this honour was appreciation for all the employees of the company.

Dr. Jawahery thanked all employees who regularly receive awards of excellence from organisations within and outside Bahrain and said this confirms the Company’s approach under the guidance of its Board of Directors in qualifying and developing its human elements and equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to help them perform their tasks efficiently.

He said this also contributes to the development of leadership and administrative skills and creates a positive attitude among employees, while updating them on the developments within the industry.

Dr. Jawahery praised the employees’ continuous efforts through their management skills and professionalism in accomplishing their tasks quickly and skilfully.

He said he hoped they would continue to win accolades and awards that would once again confirm the company's excellence in terms of the quality of its products and the professionalism of its staff.
