As part of its plans and strategies to inject new blood into the Executive Management, the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) Board of Directors has announced rotation of its Senior Managers.

As part of the process, Mr. Fadhil Malallah Al Ansari has been named General Manager Corporate Support, Mr. Yasser Abdul Rahim Al Abbasi is the new General Manager Manufacturing, Mr. Jehad Ali Khalfan is now the Finance and Marketing Manager, Mr. Khalid Yousuf Al Bin Ali is now the Plants Operations Manager, Mr. Jassim Ahmed Darwish is the new Maintenance Manager, Mr. Bader Mohammed Al Mansouri has been named the Technical Services Manager, Mr. Jamal Ali Al Shawoosh is the f Safety, Security, Health and Environment Manager and Mr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Arabi takes over as the Procurement and Warehousing Manager.

GPIC President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery said the changes reflect the great confidence of the Chairman and the Board of Directors in the capabilities of all of the members of the Executive Management. He said the new appointees will now oversee the implementation of important expansion projects in addition to investment partnerships the Company intends to enter into.

Dr. Jawahery said the rotation policy is a modern administrative method to increase professional experience and achieve the higher goals, in addition to creating a balance. He said all the Managers have a strong positive impact in improving performance and providing continuous opportunities for development and growth.

The President praised the expertise of Bahrainis in engineering and management and said their experience comes from many years in the Company. He said they have all contributed to the Company’s success and its achievements, stressing GPIC is proud of them all.
Dr. Jawahery expressed confidence in all members of the Executive Management and urged them to work with cooperation, maintain the highest levels of performance and continue to work as a team.

The Managers thanked the Board of Directors and the President for their trust and appreciated the importance of their responsibilities as well as their keenness to maintain the Company's achievement and success.

GPIC believes the rotation policy is as an active element in modern management and would contribute to enhancing and activating the role of human resources. It would also open new horizons for the managers to acquire various skills and expertise that promote familiarity with work aspects and stimulates creativity and excellence.

In recent years, the Company has witnessed growth in its production, which has resulted in record output, operations and exports. It has also contributed to maintenance and occupational safety, making the company an example of a clean and successful industry.
