Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) Managing Director H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Musaitir congratulated Maintenance Department Senior Turnaround Planning Engineer Mr. Mohammed Samir Al-Masqati for obtaining a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Bahrain’s Al Ahlia University.

The Managing Director praised Mr. Al-Masqati’s commitment during the study period. He appreciated his diligence in acquiring knowledge and seeking to obtain the highest scientific degrees that would help him build his future, expand his awareness and improve his performance at work.

He said the Board of Directors is keen to provide all support to those wishing to complete their higher studies and would cooperate to the maximum extent to help them obtain the highest degrees.

"The Board of Directors is proud of the large number of distinguished and highly qualified employees the company has.”

He spoke of the excellence in the performance shown by employees, which proves the integrity of the approach taken by the Management in terms of nurturing their energy.

Mr. Al-Masqati thanked the Managing Director for his words of congratulations and noted the unlimited support of the Board of Directors and Executive Management to employees to help them continue their higher studies.

He said Dr. Jawahery personally encouraged him and followed up on his progress.

Mr. Al-Masqati expressed the hope his colleagues would be able to benefit from his new qualification and apply the latest developments in their field of work. He said he would always seek the highest qualifications available.

The GPIC Board of Directors is keen to support the Company’s employees and is working on their development by providing opportunities at education and training aimed at giving them skills required to improve performance and contribute to achieve more.

Mr. Al-Masqati joined the company in 2009 as field planning engineer and holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Concordia University, Canada. He currently chairs the company’s youth committee, in addition to being a member of a number of the company's internal committees. He also has entries in the final competitions of the Toastmasters Club.
