Participants at the Summer Camp of the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) were taken on a visit to the Abdulrahman Kanoo Social Club for Parental Care to share the joy and joy of the elderly.

The visit, organized by the Company’s Social Activities Committee, was aimed to instill a culture of volunteering and community service for employees’ and children.

Company President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery thanked the Chairman and members of the Committee for the humanitarian initiative, which builds in children a culture of volunteerism and a spirit of humanity while encouraging them to love others. He stressed the company management is keen to establish human and moral values among children as part of GPIC's community partnership programmes.


Dr. Jawahery expressed his happiness with this initiative, which, he said, contributes to repaying to the elderly, who earlier contributed to building Bahrain. He said these people today deserve every support and praised the care and service provided by the Centre.


He said participating in summer activities motivated students to experience new and useful things. These programmes, he said, would contribute in providing enjoyable times for the children, away from daily stress, and allow participants to make new friends and develop their social skills.


Dr. Jawahery called on parents to ensure that their children took part in summer activities organised by the company because of its great benefits, most of which contribute to building self-confidence through interacting with others.
