The Club was established for our employees and their families to provide them with an appropriate facility for spending their leisure time in relaxation. The Club is about our employees engaging in social, cultural and sporting activities, and about developing social relations amongst staff members.

Mission:
The 12,000 square metre club is strategically located in Al Eker Village. It is situated away and free from the hassles of work, and in a secluded spot where you can take in the refreshing ocean breeze and enjoy the scenic beauty.
Once at the club, recharge your batteries by utilising the various facilities being offered and engage in the diverse social, cultural and sporting activities.
Our Management have always placed great emphasis on maintaining high motivation and morale levels amongst employees. The construction of our Club and its facilities is yet another example of how we reflect our company’s values and objectives.
The Club serves employees and their families, and promotes a teamwork spirit both inside and outside of the workplace. GPIC builds this strong teamwork and relationships through the various social and sporting activities it supports or sponsors. Furthermore, the Club promotes the training and development of GPIC’s employees which in turn reflects upon their productivity and creativity.
Our GPIC Social Club was inaugurated for its members on Thursday 15th July 2004 and facilities provided include a Multi-Purpose Sports Hall, Library, Cafeteria, Health Club, VIP Restaurant, Internet Cafe, Snooker & Billiard Room, Training Classroom, Meeting Room, Majlis, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam Room, Massage Room, Shower & Change Room, Coffee Shop, Children’s Playground, Swimming Pool, Football Pitch, aviary and KG Room.
On Sunday 22nd June, 2003 H.E. Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil and GPIC Chairman laid the foundation stone of the GPIC Club, situated in West Eker.
H.E. Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa said he was pleased with this vital facility which provides recreational facilities for employees and their families. He reiterated the Board's support for all the facilities that serve employees and their families and which provide a convenient work environment for them. It is essential to promote a teamwork spirit both inside and outside the workplace in order to further strengthen relationships among staff through social and sporting activities, he added.
The GPIC Chairman said this facility would positively reflect upon the employees' productivity. The construction of the Club is a gesture from the Board to all employees for their sincerity and loyalty, which has been the key reason for GPIC's success at various levels.
In a speech delivered during the ceremony, the President expressed his thanks to H.E. Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, who laid the foundation stone for the GPIC Club. He added that this initiative was a demonstration of the unlimited support for all the Company's projects and a recognition by the Board of the efforts made by the staff. He praised the support given by H.E. the Chairman and members of the Board for this vital facility, which is seen as the most beautiful gift from the Company to its staff.
