During his current visit to Japan, Eng. Yasser Abdulrahim Alabbasi, President of the Company met with senior officials from the Japanese company JGC, which is the company that took over the construction of GPIC’s urea-formaldehyde plant in 2017 within the company’s complex. The urea-formaldehyde plant began production in December 2018 and has a capacity of 22 metric tonnes per day. The plant is one of the most efficient, safe and reliable plants in the region. During the meeting further aspects of joint cooperation were also discussed, as well as how GPIC could benefit from Japanese expertise in implementing any future projects.
